Without unity, America would be divided colonies without order and divided.  America was built on unity.  Though we did not always agree on everything, we did agree on one thing, unity of the people forming one union under a headship with appointed people carrying out the will of the people.  The people of the United States is a family .

Fear and pride divides man.  Either you are too afraid to do what is right or too ashamed to admit change is required.  America was built on change beginning with the Freedom of Worship.  Emancipation proclaiming all men to be free released the blessing of victory.  We all worked together to secure the freedom of America.  Let's continue to unite for freedom for all.
