There are four components of faith that guarantee connection with Jesus, our Lord and Savior, King of kings, Lord of lords. It consumes a minimum of 15 minutes a day of your time. The components are praise, prayer, worship and intercession.

The first step is praise, which means to sing songs of faith to Jesus. You sing along with Christian artist whose songs sing of drawing near to GOD, Jesus, rather than a drifting away.

The difference is songs of drifting away are about a life experience of falling into temptation and walking away from the love of Jesus.

Songs of praise that draw you near to Jesus sing of getting closer to Jesus, Heavenly Father. The songs not only denote spiritual proximity but a desire to be in the heart and mind of Jesus. It is understanding where we as man end and knowing where Jesus as Lord begins in our daily lives and prayer life. The right music will usher you into the presence of the Lord. The wrong music will expand the divide between you and Jesus. If you do not have any music that draws you near ask God by saying, "Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus give me a song(s) of praise that I may sing to the LORD most high."

The second step is prayer. Prayer does have a format. Jesus gives a great template of how we should pray which is in the book of Matthew 6:9-13 and 14 which is on forgiveness. Forgiveness is a major part of prayer. Forgiveness is what Jesus gave us to get back in relationship with the Father. So as Jesus forgave you with love, you also must forgive with love for those who have offended and wronged you. The following is the Lord's prayer template,

" Matthew 6:9-14 Amplified Bible (AMP)

“Pray, then, [a]in this way:

‘Our Father, who is in heaven, [b]Hallowed be Your name. 10 ‘[c]Your kingdom come, Your [d]will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 ‘Give us this day our [e]daily bread. 12 ‘And forgive us our [f]debts, as we have forgiven our debtors[letting go of both the wrong and the resentment]. 13 ‘And do not [g]lead us into temptation, but deliver us from [h]evil.[i][For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]’

14 For if you forgive [j]others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins], your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

The third step is worship. Worship is giving thanks to Jesus for what He has done. In the bible you will read about Jesus the one who paid the price for the sin of man. You should know that the LORD is three persons in one. HE is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Father is the creator. The Son is Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the Mind of the Father. When you have Jesus who have the Father. When you have the Father you have Jesus. Jesus is the Face of the LORD. The Father thinks of a thing, Jesus loves the thing and the Holy Spirit brings the thing into existence.

Why did Jesus need to save man from sin. The short version is man disobeyed GOD. Adam and Eve sinned by rejecting the truth GOD, the Father and by heeding the words of another god, the father of sin, called Satan. Since faith begins with belief, when Adam and Eve believed Satan, who came to them in the form of a snake and told Adam and Eve that GOD was lieing to them ( an omission is the same as a lie is the hint Satan offered) by not wanting them to know good and evil.

The Satan said if Adam and Eve would eat a piece of fruit from the forbidden tree then they would be like GOD. But the problem was Adam and Eve were already more like GOD than any other creature in the heavens and on earth. GOD did not lie. He gave an order, to not eat of the tree of good and evil only but everything else Adam and Eve could freely partake.

Eve took the bate first and then Adam, the head of the family of man surrendered to the lie when he accepted the lie from the mouth of his wife eve. Adam was not seduced, Adam accepted fear in the form of missing out on a thing that was not his concern. Adam also did not correct his wife in her wrong doing by listening to a lie. Adam did not rebuke Satan and did not speak from the position of his authority as the Head of the family of man. GOD has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind, 2 Timothy 1:7. Adam stepped out of the mind and heart of GOD his place of pleasure and comfort. Fear took root and rose up in Adam and Eve leading them to an eternity of sin and death. When Adam surrendered to Satan's lie Adam also gave away his authority, power, sound mind to the devil. Before Adam sinned no sickness could overtake him. Therefore sickness, disease, virus, destruction of any kind requires the permission of man, so don't give it.

To be without GOD is death. At that moment the life span countdown began. Because of this disobedience Adam did not have the revelation to repent. Adam needed a stand-in, someone to stand between him and the Father, so that the Father would not reject him eternally. Adam, Eve and all their offspring are considered full with sin because all are of the blood of Adam. Since Jesus' blood is from the loins of the Father, who is without sin, Jesus is without sin. The egg is also from the Father, the creator.

This is where Jesus comes into play. Jesus is the only person that could take the punishment that the Father needed to issue. When you name a thing, you become responsible for it. GOD, not only created man but he named Adam. The LORD took the punishment upon Himself, HIS family, HIS Son, Jesus.

How did Jesus come to be in the earth? A faithful woman named Mary was used a vessel to carry the fertilized egg of GOD. The Holy Spirit implanted the fertilized egg. Nine months later Jesus was birthed into the earth. Jesus could not have come and been raised to pay the price by any other means. I say this so you can understand the length of what GOD did to restore man back to the Father. So you will know why forgiveness is required to go before the LORD and why you worship. John 3:16-17 tells us plainly what Jesus did and why,

John 3:16-17 King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The fourth is intercession. To intercede means to pray for those that can not, are not able to pray for themselves and as the LORD prompts you to pray for others. "1 Timothy 2:1, I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men ", KJV,

Not everything GOD tells you in intercessory prayer is meant to be shared with others. Often, a word from GOD is just for you. Do not go around telling everything instead pray in private and what GOD wants revealed in public will be revealed by HIM.

Intercession is praying the will of GOD for others or a specific event, seeing what Jesus sees. The will of GOD is to overtake the sin in the life of man and replace it with HIS forgiveness, love and joy. To make man's life like it is written in heaven. To come is to overtake and recover all. The will of GOD is to agree in surrender to the established blessing, which is plural, of GOD, the Father. Blessing is plural because GOD, the Father is more than enough with no beginning and no ending to HIS existence or love. When we read, "Matthew 6:10, 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.", we are instructed to speak the vision of GOD for us as seen by JESUS, the example of how to pray, speak to GOD, the Father.

An effective intercessor has an active spirit of forgiveness, is quick to listen and slow to anger, is not easily offended. James 1:19-20, KJV,

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

You may know an intercessor by other titles such as advocate, mediator, arbitrator. These are the titles that Jesus holds when He moves in heaven on your behalf and directs in the earth for you and for your good.

You can see this in Isaiah 53:12, " 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
